ARIANNE SMITH, LMHC

As a therapist, I am passionate about supporting physicians in overcoming burnout and enhancing their well-being. I believe that the success of therapy lies in the strength of the relationship between therapist and client. I approach counseling with the fundamental belief that we are all whole individuals - each of us unique; equally deserving of love, understanding, and compassion; and capable of making positive changes to achieve wellness.

Drawing from a variety of counseling methods, including EMDR, cognitive-behavioral therapy, and mindfulness techniques, I guide clients in identifying, understanding, and resolving their personal life stressors. In therapy, we will set meaningful goals, explore thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, and work collaboratively toward achieving your desired outcomes.

I received my masters degree from the University of Florida in 2011 and I have been licensed since 2016. I am comfortable working with clients of all ages. I am currently a community care provider through the VA and I am passionate about supporting veterans. I offer both virtual and in-person sessions in the Riverside neighborhood Monday-Friday between the hours of 9:00 am- 4:00 pm.
